Comprehensive evaluations that assess an individual's cognitive, academic, and emotional functioning to help identify learning difficulties, intellectual abilities, and emotional or behavioural challenges.
Initial session: Usually about 30 mins to an hour where we discuss background, areas of need and processes.
Assessment days: Over 2 days where assessments will be administered with the client. A variety of tools are used such as psychometric testing, scholastic tests, psycho-motor functioning and behavioural screeners.
Feedback session: About 2 to 3 weeks after the assessment, a meeting with the parents of the client to discuss findings and recommendations.
